TITLE="RHODEESH (Deceased)">cat Balou CDX (Rhodeesh)</A> and shortly after , BIS, RUBISS, <A HREF="chobe.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="CHOBE (Deceased)">Ch Ujamaa Satisfaction (Chobe)</A>. This was the start, and from that time to the present our lives have been blessed with dogs that have now departed and are currently residing at Zimbalooba. </div> <bR> <div> We live on the Victorian, New South Wales border, situated just outside Albury/Wodonga. We share our place with, 2 horses, 2 ponies, 4 Ridgebacks (currently) and hopefully a dam full of trout. Another three Ridgebacks live with my parents close by (<A HREF="cracker.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="CRACKER">Cracker</A>, <A HREF="zali.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="ZALI">Zali </A>and <A HREF="flame.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="FLAME">Flame</A>). They rotate with ours, when girl friend visit our boys or when girls are in season. </div> <bR> <div> We were blessed with our foundation stock. <A HREF="chobe.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="CHOBE (Deceased)">Chobe</A> and <A HREF="rhodeesh.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="RHODEESH (Deceased)">Rhodeesh</A> gave us many great wins in the show ring and <A HREF="rhodeesh.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="RHODEESH (Deceased)">Rhodeesh</A> was a prolific winner in obedience obtaining her CDX and working at UD level. </div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="chobe.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="CHOBE (Deceased)">Chobe's</A> highlights by the end of his career were, BIS all breeds, RUBIS Ridgeback specialty show and 5 reserve dog challenges , 5 best headed dog and 10 age in show all at specialty level. </div> <bR> <div> First and foremost these two foundation dogs of "Zimbalooba" were temperament personified. Our 2 children (Kirby and Alec) were introduced into the Zimbalooba pack well after dogs without a worry in the world. All dogs, up to 5 at a time regularly parked themselves on the blanket next two the children whilst they were at the crawling and walk/ fall over stage. </div> <bR> <div> Now the children are older, "<A HREF="dudley.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="DUDLEY">Dudley</A>" loves nothing more than to assist in sand pit digging and giving away the hidey go seek place of an unfound child. The words "go away Dudley" gives away the place of hiding every time. </div> <bR> <div> ZIMBALOOBA's motto is <I><B><U>"Going about our own business"</U></B></I>. We do not concern ourselves with the latest trends, rumors and innuendoes within the breed. </div> <bR> <div> We concern ourselves with, temperament, soundness (structural and genetic) and breeding a dog that not only looks like a Ridgeback but is a joy to own whether they are to be a loyal family pet and/or going into the show ring. </div> <bR> <div> We have approx, one litter every 12 to 18mths. Orders pending. All breeding stock are hip and elbowed scored. </div> <bR> <div> All puppies are bought up with the care and nurturing they deserve to give them the best start in life. All are very well socialized with children and adults alike. </div> <bR> <div> We stand behind all puppies sold and are contactable whenever the need arises for information on anything. </div> <bR> <div> We are happy to discuss and share our experiences regarding our breeding program, all you need do, is ask. We find this a better approach that listening to someone that thinks they know what Zimbalooba are doing or done. </div> <bR> <div> Our showing is limited due to the distance from capital cities and the weather. Too hot or raining usually see us stay at home. We do try to participate in as many specialty shows as possible. When we do show we love to win, but win, lose or draw the best dogs are coming home with us to ZIMBALOOBA as they will do anything for us all of the time. Well lets say, almost anything, some of the time.
